Which Toyota SUV Is Better: Land Cruiser or Sequoia?
If you are looking for a used Japanese vehicles like Land Cruiser Prado and have seen the Toyota Sequoia, then you must be in a quandary. Should you consider the larger SUV instead?
The Toyota Sequoia is the widest and largest of all Toyota SUVs. You get more leg room, comfort, and a choice between a 2 wheel drive or a 4 wheel drive (4WD). Unlike the Prado which is a permanent 4 wheel drive, the Sequoia’s 4WD is not permanent. You can only find the Sequoia in countries like the United States, Mexico, Canada, the Middle East, Chile, and Puerto Rico.
Even as a second-hand unit, the used Land Cruiser Prado will offer you features like the crawl control and better off-road advantage. This means you can control your speed whether you are driving up or down a steep road. Inside the Prado, you will feel like you are in the lap of luxury. It has a touch screen for satellite navigation, audio, SUV set-up, climate functions. Everything has been designed to make it easy to drive with controls that are at your fingertips in logical order. Fuel consumption is good although the torque could use some improvement especially if you have 8 adults in the vehicle.
The 4.6 liter Toyota Sequoia is also a V8 but with less comfort on rough roads. It is more stylish than the Prado and this can be the clincher along with the lower price.
With more features, the Land Cruiser has a higher resale value. This means that a used Land Cruiser Prado will most probably be more expensive than the Sequoia. If you have no reason to travel over dirt roads and tough terrain, you will be happy with a Toyota Sequoia but be limited in your movements. It is a big car. The used Prado is your city/rough road car that can handle almost anything. According to most car experts, they would spend on a used Land Cruiser Prado instead of a Toyota Sequoia because you really can’t beat the comfort, luxury and durability of this SUV.
